Yelllllo. If you notice in my photos there appears to be things all over the floor or laundry hanging on the chairs or packing stuff— it’s because I don’t care to make you think I am put together. I am not. If you spend time with me, you know I am a walking disaster and somewhat of a hoarder. My limbs feel uncontrollable sometimes (why are my hands weird here) and I knock things over with my coat or butt and one time my pocket got stuck on a door knob and ripped my dress to high heaven at a party (literally an SNL skit).
One time, as I entered my college algebra (failed 2x previously ) class late & sneakily tried to get to my seat, my backpack knocked over an entire long table’s bevies. Big gulps covered the land, the teacher stopped, and I made the Gilly smile, and loudly said “sorry😬”. Obviously I still live this way in spirit and in body.
It had me thinking : @bethmoorelpm was talking on @jamieivey ‘s podcast and she said this: “Vines that are in good conditions , produce lots of leaves. They are gorgeous to the eye. Full and thick leaves . But the vine only produces a grape when it knows it might not survive.” Sometimes what’s out here on these squares looks luscious and full and green, but hear me loud and clear, it produces no fruit.
If you feel like you’re living under distress and can’t keep your head above water or that you’re not quite green and full as the others, please remember the sovereignty of the Lord in hindering what you might consider lush growth in one area so he can produce fruit in another. He produces in the weak. He comes to save those who are sick, not those who have no need. Anyways, In transition, I very much like bell bottoms currently . That was the main thing I wanted to say on this Holiest of the Lord’s days. #weirdhands4God #pants4theLord.org
